Today preparations were made for planting trees in the empty lands on the banks of hindon and its tributaries. This meeting was chaired by Chief Conservation of Forest Shri N K Janu. Apart from the district forest officers of Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Baghpat, Gautambudhnagar, Bulandshar, Shami, Muzaffarnagar and Saharanpur, representatives of social organizations also participated in the meeting. To make this plantation successful, the Bhartiya nadi parishad is taking help of the stakeholders of Hindon and its supporting rivers in bringing them together in this work.
