After a long struggle, Kali River West has started getting 1500 cusecs of water from Khatauli Escape. This water flows through a 6 km long drain from Khatauli to Ambarpur village in Muzaffarnagar district and meets the Kali West River. This water joins the Hindon River near Pithalokar village in Meerut district, about 58 km from here. While this has increased the amount of water in the Hindon River, it has also reduced the pollution of the river. Thanks to the Irrigation Department of Uttar Pradesh Government for this.
