Chief Development Officer meerut Ms Nupur Goel organised a meeting in vikas bhawan. Today's meeting will review the preparations regarding the plantation drive to be held in the first week of July. In my opinion, during this year's festival, more and more plantations will be done on the banks of rivers. A week ago I had requested District Magistrate Meerut Shri Deepak Meena to create a river cell for the permanent revival of all the rivers of Meerut (Kali East, Kali West, Hindon, Ganga and Budhi Ganga). In today's meeting, Ms Nupur Goel informed all the government officials regarding the river cell gathering in Meerut. All the technical assistance in river cell will be done by us. This river cell will soon start its work for the improvement of rivers in Meerut. DFO Meerut Shri Rajesh Kumar was also present in the meeting.
