What does a farmer wait for the whole year? The blessing of rain nourishes the saplings rooted in the soil and in hope. But what if the rains never came? In places like Kharopat, where drinkable water is scarce, this question is more than a worry—it’s a looming reality. Without rain, how do saplings survive?


How do dreams grow? Today, as I see these Sarovars filled to the brim, there’s a profound reassurance. These reservoirs are no longer just a collection of water but a lifeline. They hold the promise that even in the driest times, our farmers will have the water they need to nurture their land.


In Kharopat rain comes often but when it comes it destroys everything in its way, The situation is exacerbated by our channelization system, which forces water to flow through predetermined paths, leading to erosion and flooding.


These Sarovars are filled with hope, ensuring that every farmer’s dream has a chance to flourish.
